I started sewing at my grandmother's knee on her treadle machine. She taught me to sew, crochet, embroider, quilt and run a household. I started quilting seriously when my kids were born. I love casual applique, samplers and hand quilting.
Finished the April block for Aunt Millie's Garden.....May's block is very similar with the same shape flower but many smaller ones, now to choose a color scheme and get going.
Carolyn - welcome to the Inklingo list - I'm over here checking out your blog. I LOVE your Aunt Millie's Flower Garden - I have the pattern and the background fabric - now I've just got to get started.
Lovely block!!!! I am about to start the Aunt Millie's and am wondering....are you using their method? Did you make copies of the blocks? And if so, where? They are huge!
I like your color selections so far.It is fun to see other ideas on them.
